Sunshine Division’s first Thanksgiving Meal Delivery will be on November 23rd!
This year, we are expanding our founding tradition of delivering meals to those in need during the holidays! Our first-ever Thanksgiving Meal Delivery will be on Saturday, November 23, 2024.
In partnership with The Safeway Foundation, we will be delivering food boxes and frozen turkey meal kits with all the fixings directly to clients’ homes in Portland and Gresham.
Registration to receive a Thanksgiving Meal Delivery is now full.
Thanksgiving meal kits will be home-delivered between 9:00am-1:00pm. We ask those who sign up to be home and ready to receive their meal kit.
We will also be working with more than 30 social service agencies to expand our reach to thousands of households in the Portland metro area.
Individuals are welcome to access our regular programs in addition to the Thanksgiving Meal Delivery. However, no additional home deliveries will be made the week of Thanksgiving and turkey meal kits will not be available at our food pantry.
We need volunteer drivers to help us deliver turkey meal kits!
On the morning of Saturday, November 23, will meet our volunteer drivers at Portland International Raceway (PIR) and load up their vehicles with about five food boxes and turkey meal kits. We will then provide a list of addresses to deliver within Portland and Gresham. Click here to sign up.
