Thanksgiving Meal Delivery: November 22, 2025

This November, Sunshine Division will once again bring holiday meals directly to families across the Portland metro area. On Saturday, November 22, 2025, with the help of hundreds of volunteers, we will deliver 2,000 food boxes and frozen turkey meal kits straight to households in need.

Each kit includes a frozen turkey, traditional sides, fresh produce, and more essentials to make the holiday special.

Registration to receive a Thanksgiving Meal Delivery is now open!

Important Things to Note:

  • This delivery is ONLY available to individuals who live within Portland and Gresham city limits.
  • Kits will be delivered on Saturday, Nov. 22, between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Please plan on being home to accept your delivery.
  • There is a limit of ONE frozen turkey kit (with sides) per household/address. 
  • Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. 
  • Households may continue to access Sunshine Division’s regular food assistance programs in addition to this special holiday delivery.
  • Our food pantry locations will not have Thanksgiving frozen turkey kits available.
  • Frozen turkey kits will be distributed by home delivery only.
  • Online registration will remain open until all kits are reserved.

Interested In Volunteering? 

In mid-October, we will begin recruiting volunteer drivers to help us bring all 2,000 food boxes and turkey meal kits to our neighbors’ doorsteps. There will be a registration link available here as well as our Volunteer page. 

Together, we’re ensuring families don’t have to choose between paying bills and enjoying a holiday meal.
