Izzy’s Kids “Shop With A Cop”

Sunshine Division’s Izzy’s Kids program provides a free clothing shopping experience for children in low-income households in partnership with the Portland Police Bureau and other first responders.

Commonly referred to as “Shop With A Cop,” this program outfits approximately 500 children with new clothing every year while fostering positive interactions with local law enforcement.

Sunshine Division launched Izzy’s Kids in 1981 in honor of our late board chair and longtime supporter Isabel Hoyt. Over the years, this program has served over 10,000 children in the Portland metro area.

This program would not be possible without our incredible supporters and community partners including the Portland Police Bureau, Fred Meyer, Portland Public Schools, and network of social service agencies.

This is a referral-based program. There is not an open application process.
