Sunshine Division says they will remain open for people in need of food as more locations announce closures due to the coronavirus.
The organization says they are taking safety precautions by delivering food outside of their buildings.
Staff says their mission to make emergency food available is especially important during a pandemic like this.
“Emergency food is our mission, and this is very much the definition of that for a lot of people. Like fear of illness and the economic impact that we’re about to see,” said Kyle Camberg, the Executive Director of the Sunshine Division.
Sunshine Division has suspended volunteer activities, and many staff members are working from home. It’s still operating under normal hours.
