Sunshine Division has a new-and-improved way of serving clients in need of food assistance at our Southeast Stark Street food pantry.
To make our food pantry experience more efficient, we’ve rolled out an appointment system that allows our clients to reserve a time to pick up food.
When a client stops by for a scheduled appointment, they may select the food items that meet their preferences and dietary needs while our staff and volunteers handle the rest!
While appointments are strongly encouraged, we will accommodate walk-ins based on availability. If no walk-in appointments are available, we will help clients schedule a future appointment that works for their schedule.

What to know about these changes:
1) CONTINUED SERVICE TO ALL:
We want to reassure everyone that Sunshine Division will continue to serve all clients. This new system is designed to enhance the way we provide services, not restrict access.
2) EFFICIENCY & TIME RESPECT:
Our new appointment system allows clients to book an appointment online and speed up the process of picking up food from our pantry. We also have a dedicated email and phone number for making appointments. Clients will also have the opportunity to pre-schedule their next appointment during their visit.
3) BETTER & SAFER PARKING:
With scheduled appointments, we can manage the flow of visitors more effectively, leading to safer and more available parking and less congestion.
4) PERSONALIZED GROCERY PICKUP EXPERIENCE:
This new “pick-and-pack” model allows clients to choose items tailored to their personal preferences and dietary needs from a list of staple food items and rotating options. Our staff and volunteers will gather selected items while engaging meaningfully with clients to understand their unique situations, ensuring that each client gets the most out of their visit.
Overall, we’re dedicated to providing a convenient, personalized, and respectful service and look forward to serving you in this new way.
Hours of Operation:
Tuesday – Friday, 9:30-11:00am & 12:30-3:30pm and Saturday, 9:00am – 1:00pm.
