Thank you for making the 13th annual SHINE Gala & Auction such an unforgettable evening. Together, we raised nearly $330,000, making this the most successful SHINE in our 13-year history. Every dollar will help support families across the Portland metro area.
Guests enjoyed gourmet food, specialty drinks, live and silent auctions, a Golden Ticket Raffle, a wine toss, and an immersive evening centered around the power of community and generosity.

SHINE In Every Act reflects the heart of Sunshine Division’s work — the belief that dignity, compassion, and consistency matter just as much as food itself.
For more than 100 years, Sunshine Division has shown up for neighbors facing hunger, providing immediate food assistance when it’s needed most. Today, that mission reaches further than ever. Each year, we serve tens of thousands of households across the Portland metro area — ensuring families, seniors, and individuals have reliable access to nutritious food.
Our impact is built one act at a time: a volunteer packing food boxes, a local business hosting a food drive, or a supporter stepping up to ensure a family leaves our pantry with enough food for the week. These moments may feel small on their own, but together they create lasting change.
As Sunshine Division enters a new era with the opening of our new headquarters, SHINE In Every Act reminds us that progress isn’t defined by one bold moment — it’s defined by the collective power of everyday generosity.
