Waterfront Blues Festival

Now benefiting the Sunshine Division and the Oregon Food Bank

The Waterfront Blues Festival is committed to providing a world-class event to the community of Portland and beyond that presents diverse musical arts, culture, and entertainment. The festival has been rooted in the ideals and principles of using its broad platform to create awareness and support of hunger relief efforts for 30 years.

As the long-term production company takes on the day-to-day operations of the festival, it has extended its commitment to fighting hunger by supporting an additional local partner, the Sunshine Division, which has provided emergency food and clothing to those in need for over 95 years.

This move reaffirms the festival’s three-decade commitment in the fight against hunger in our region. Over the last 30 years under the Oregon Food Bank’s stewardship, the festival raised over $10 million and 20 million pounds of food.

The Sunshine Division is excited to be included in this reputable music festival and Portland tradition as the food drive partner and offering volunteer management.  We hope you will join us in making this festival a continued success through volunteerism at the event or attending the festival.
