At any of the four locations of Zupan’s
Markets, you can donate food to help replenish the
warehouse of Sunshine Division so that we can continue
to provide food for those in a financial crisis—and
who otherwise would be forced to choose between paying
a utility bill and buying adequate food for their
family. Donated food should be nonperishable—canned
foods (especially fish and meat, veggies, fruit),
peanut butter, mac and cheese, and the like. You can
donate food in several ways:
- Bring it from your own pantry and drop it off
at any Zupan's.
- Donate some of the food you purchase while
shopping at Zupan's.
- Buy a $5 or $10 bag of nonperishable groceries
specially prepackaged by Zupan's.
However you donate, it all goes into the Sunshine Division’s
distinctive blue barrels—and from there into
the homes of Portland families that need help during
a rough patch in their lives. Donations of food can
be made at any of the four Zupan’s Markets:
- Belmont (at SE 33rd)
- W. Burnside (at NW 23rd)
- Macadam (at SW Taylors Ferry, across from OPB)
- Raleigh Hills (on Beaverton-Hillsdale Hwy.)
